| The Birthday Boy |
Hunter is 1 today! Hard to believe that a year ago today he was born! Today started out early as Hunter has been waking early due to teething! He got to spend the day with his friends at Mother's Day Out and he had lots of fun! (More on Mother's Day Out at a later date!) After school he and Haley played with the balloons I got to celebrate! We had a family party when Steve got home tonight!

For dinner we had his favorite, Annie's Macaroni & Cheese and broccoli. He loved it!

And for dessert we had cupcakes from GiGi's Cupcakes which were delicious and HUGE!
He wasn't so sure about all the frosting on the cupcake! First time ever to have chocolate!

He ate about two bites and was done. He wanted nothing to do with it! But Haley enjoyed her cupcake...
He wanted some fruit. He had a ton of grapes and strawberries! Life is hard when it's your birthday...
Happy boy after his fruit!
He got a booster seat/high chair from us as one of his gifts. He loves it! I'm so sick of cleaning the fabric cushion on his high chair that this was a must gift. So easy to clean and pushes neatly into the table!
- He has 4 teeth but there are a handful more about to cut through! I would appreciate if they would hurry so he would possibly sleep past 6a.m.
- He walks and almost runs everywhere! He is such a busy little guy and always on the move! He thinks he is 3.5 years old and can do everything his sister does!
- He eats SO much! I really think he does eat more than Haley on a daily basis! His favorite food is fruit! He will eat and eat it until you cut him off! His recent favorite are oranges and strawberries! He is now on whole milk too!
- Favorite toys are balls and anything he can throw on the hardwood floor to make a loud noise and watch it bounce.
- He loves his sister! He thinks she is just the most interesting person in the world. But, he is a Mommy's boy.
- His smile is electric! It is so big and bright and warms my heart!
We are having a joint Hunter and Steve birthday party on Saturday with family and a few friends. The theme is Steelers! It will be fun! Wish everyone far away was able to join us!
Looks like he had a great birthday! Love the pictures. At dinner tonight, Austin and Adam tried to convince us that we need to go to Texas this weekend for Hunter's party. Maybe we can facetime on Saturday.

ReplyDeleteWe loved our plastic booster seat, too.. we got it at 14 mos when we went out of town with P but wound up using it at home because the fabric high chair was a pain to clean!
