Our new house

So, a lot has happened since I last blogged. We moved out of our Calgary house and are now in Houston staying at Grandma & Grandpa Dibble's house. On our 3rd day of house shopping we found our house! It is beautiful! It is in the neighborhood of Auburn Lakes which is just South of The Woodlands. It is a beautiful community that is new, has a nice community center, and even a golf course. The house is a new build that was an inventory home for Village Builders. It has 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a 3 car tandem garage, 4115 sf, and a good size yard (by Houston standards.) It has a FABULOUS kitchen with a huge island and awesome appliances! We are taking advantage of some incentives and closing on June 30th. Fast! Enjoy the pictures! And come visit us anytime!

This picture was taken Wednesday by my friend Jill during a playdate! I just LOVE it! She took lots of cute ones of Haley & Jonah but I need to ask her if I can put the ones with Jonah up. They are so cute! Haley & Jonah have been friend since they were in the womb!

Update on Moving

Sorry that it has been SO long since I have posted but between working on moving, taking care of Haley and being pregnant I have been busy!

We finally got a packing & loading date from the moving company. They are coming June 9th & 10th. So excited! They even agreed to drop off a few boxes upon the truck arriving in Houston at my parent's house. (Honestly, I think they agreed to this as we kept bugging them for a date and it took them over a week.) We are staying 3 nights in the Sheraton Eau Claire and then flying to Houston on Sunday the 12th!

We have been busy selling our cars. Both sold last week/weekend and we now have a single rental car, a black Chrysler 300 with black leather interior. I fell like I belong on The Sopranos driving it. We now just have to decide what 2 cars to buy in Houston! Suggestions?

Other than that, we have just been collecting paperwork and scheduling lots of stuff prior to our leaving. Oh, and there is just the tiny task of finding a house in Houston too.....
