The shirts left a spot on the back to dedicate your run to someone.

We had our friends, the Rogers, over to celebrate Hunter's Birthday.  They have a 2 year old, Levi, and a 4 year old, Maddy.  The kids all play together so well!  Hunter and Levi both share a love of cars!

Hunter is 2!  Where does the time go!  It has been so amazing watching him grow into a little boy!  Here are some things about Hunter at 2:
  • He is so sweet!  He loves to give hugs, kisses, and snuggles.  His little slobbery kisses are so sweet!
  • He is a good sleeper although he wakes up early!  He goes to bed around 7:30 and is usually up on average around 6 am (however, lately it has been around 5:30am).  He takes a 2-3 hour nap daily.
  • Loves to eat!  He eats three big meals a day plus two snacks.  I would guesstimate he eats at least 2 to 2.5 times what Haley does in a day.  I need to buy stock in the grocery industry.  Some of his favorites are macaroni & cheese, just about any fruit, tomatoes, frozen mixed vegetables (no, not kidding), animal crackers, muffins, yogurt, chicken, and sausage.
  • He has such a happy disposition.  People often comment how happy he is and that they never seem him mad or upset.  True most of the time.
  • Is obsessed with cars, trucks, and the like.  He loves to line them up, zoom them around, and give them a ride in his dump truck.
  • Loves to play outside, run, and watch the big kid neighbors play!
  • Love the Steelers and when Steve sings the Steelers Polka.
  • Is a great conversationalist!  He speaks in complete sentences and loves to chat!
He had his two year check-up a few days after his birthday!  The doctor said he is doing great!  His stats were:

Weight:  27.5 lbs (~45th percentile)
Height:  36 inches (~85th percentile)
Weight-for-length:  20th percentile (tall and skinny)

Haley's First Day of Junior Kindergarten

Such a cute formal uniform worn on the first day of the school week!
Haley started Junior Kindergarten this year at Webber Academy!  Junior Kindergarten is similar to Pre-K in the USA.  Webber is a private school with one of the best academic offerings in Alberta!  We are lucky to live so close and that she is able to attend!  She attends Monday - Friday from 12:30 - 3:30.  She had made lots of friends and loves her teachers!

Cheese!

Hunter wanted in on the pictures too!

So excited for the first day!

Making her crown in the class!

For a first day of school treat, Haley wanted a slurpee.  Yes, a slurpee.  I offered ice cream, cupcake, or donuts and she chose a slurpee!

Hunter enjoyed one too (in a more spill resistant cup)

Non-formal uniform for the rest of the week
