Updated Stats

We went for Haley's 1 year vaccinations today and here are her updated stats:

Weight: 20lbs (~30th percentile)

Height: 30 inches (~75th percentile)

Weight-for-length: 20th percentile (tall & skinny)

I was actually surprised at the weight. I would have guessed she was 22lbs.

On Saturday we had a birthday party with some of Haley's friends. We had a few families come and served lunch and cupcakes! Steve made delicious pulled pork bbq and I made potato salad and spinach dip & veggies! It was fun to see all of Haley's friends and watch them "play" together! I am dissappointed that I did not take any pictures of the kids together!

Haley actually did not like (or eat) the cupcake. She just pushed it around a bit but she LOVED the balloons! Enjoy the photos & video!

Birthday Party #1

Today we celebrated Haley's birthday with the family! Steve's parents are in town from Pittsburgh and are having so much fun with Miss H! They have been so busy reading books & playing with all of her toys!



I made a homemade (from scratch) banana cake with a chocolate ganache frosting as Haley LOVES bananas. After dinner she had her first experience with cake and LOVED it! She was so excited and kept making all of her silly noises while eating it! She even thought it was so fun to feed some to Steve....lucky him!

Then we opened gifts! She doesn't really understand opening gifts but had fun with all the paper. Haley is officially spoiled. She got so many new toys and books! I think she is going to have so much fun tomorrow playing with all of them!

Saturday we are having a party with a of our friends! It will be pretty low key but I am looking forward to it! Enjoy the photos & videos!

I cannot believe that it has already been a year since Haley was born! It has been both a hard year and a fantastic one! Haley has become quite the little personality lately! She is good at telling you when she wants something (points finger and says "ugh") and when she doesn't (arches her back and fusses)! She is super silly and loves to dance! She loves her toys and her favority activity is to read her books!

Haley, thank you for an amazing first year and we cannot wait to watch you grow into a little lady!
